Air Show
A whole arsenal of aircraft throughout the years was on display - biplanes, B-1B, F-15's, F-16 and F-117 among others.
Both Saturday and Sunday featured a firepower demonstration of the 366th Fighter Wing's aircraft with a simulated air attack against the base using various weapons.
U.S.A.F. Thunderbirds
After the Air Show had closed for the day and the crowds departed, the Air Force Thunderbirds arrived and with their typical flair performed their "Arrival Show". As it turned out, this would be the only show they would perform at Mountain Home.
Upon landing, 366th Wing Commander, Col. Blair Hansen, brought the team over and introduced them to 366th Alumni, George Dimich (WWII), Stan Anderson and Jerry Lanphear (Vietnam).
Barbeque and Concert
As if meeting the Thunderbirds wasn't enough, Stan and Jerry got to spend a few minutes with a member of the U.S. Army's Golden Knights "Black" Team at a base-wide barbeque and concert Saturday evening.
